In July 2012 the teachers of our Institute of Osteopathy – Kirill V. Mazalski, Tatiana Petrova and Svetlana Mishina – attended the seminar of Dr. Viola M. Frymann in Osteopathic Center for Children & Families, San Diego, California, USA, under the “Osteopathy’s Promise to Children” project.

During 5 days the attendees of the seminar could learn first-hand about her many years practice experience. Our teachers were very inspired by communicating and learning the practice experience of so high level specialist as Dr. Viola M. Frymann who is one of the oldest osteopathic physicians of our planet, student of founder of osteopathy Andrew T. Still, Professor. This helped them to take a fresh look at the prospects of osteopathy development and expand their own practical approach to patients. Vitality and positive energy of Dr. Viola M. Frymann were amazing. Particular attention was paid to her deep approach to the perception of the patient’s integrity, her ability to see the problem clearly, not only in physiological but in psycho-emotional sphere as well.

At the seminar great attention was also paid to the improvement of teaching methods in osteopathy.

The teachers of Institute of Osteopathy have been invited to the next seminar of Dr. Viola M. Frymann in January 2013 with more complicated and profound program.
