The Role of Structural and Functional Disorders in the Formation of Disease
On 14–16 June, 2013 in St. Petersburg the tenth anniversary International Symposium Osteopathy Open will be held. It becomes a good tradition for osteopaths from all over the world to meet and exchange experience in Saint Petersburg State University.
This year symposium will focus on the role of etiologic diagnosis of osteopathy, as well as clinical significance of the structural and functional disorders in various pathologies. The task of modern medicine is to perform a new scientific and practical perception focused on "pre-disease" period.
Osteopathy has a considerable experience in correction of structural and functional disorders in "pre-disease" period. The use of osteopathy in complex treatment, as well as its role of personalized preventive and predic-tive medicine can be very important in improving the health status of the population.
In plenary meeting the world’s leading osteopaths together with Russian scientists will present the results of the latest clinical studies with modern methods of verification. At the workshops you can acquaint yourself with the latest technologies of osteopathic diagnosis and treatment.
We invite you to the capital of Russian osteopathy – St. Petersburg – during the city’s White Nights period. Osteopathic medicine is able to make a significant contribution to human health and improve the life quality. We offer you an interesting cultural program as well.
